What we do
Northnest designs and operates journeys across Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. We contract directly with local hosts, guides, drivers and stays on your behalf.
Quotes and pricing
Quotes are all-inclusive of what is listed in your itinerary and valid for [X] days. Prices are shown in INR and USD; the INR figure is the contractual amount and currency conversion is indicative. [CONFIRM WHICH CURRENCY GOVERNS]
Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed when we receive your deposit of [X]% and send written confirmation. The balance is due [X] days before departure. We never ask for full prepayment at the point of enquiry.
Permits and documents
We arrange Protected Area and Inner Line Permits where required and confirm your permit position in writing before you travel. You are responsible for holding a valid passport and visa, and for the accuracy of the details you give us for permit applications.
Your responsibilities
- Tell us about medical conditions, mobility needs or dietary requirements before booking.
- Hold travel insurance covering medical care and evacuation. [CONFIRM IF MANDATORY]
- Follow the guidance of your guide on safety, permits and community protocols.
- Respect consent: photography in villages and homes only where it has been offered.
Changes by us
Weather, road conditions and community circumstances can require an itinerary to change. We will always offer the nearest equivalent and tell you why. Where a change materially reduces what you booked, the Refund & Cancellation Policy applies.
Liability
[LIABILITY CLAUSE — TO BE DRAFTED BY COUNSEL. Must address limits of liability, third-party suppliers, and the interaction with mandatory consumer protections under Indian law.]
Governing law
